In my travels across the web this week I have been learning about some of the upcoming and anticipated phones to be released this year and some of the sweet features being offered (or rumored to be offered). So without further ado, here are the top three I found most interesting!
OnePlus 5
Where did the OnePlus 4 go you ask? You got me! Apparently OnePlus is skipping 4 and going straight to 5. Rumours say we'll be looking at a 5.5in full-HD display and that the phone will have a glass or ceramic body. Some other rumours suggested dual cameras, one being a 21Mp or possibly larger camera and a 3,500- to 4,000mAh battery with Dash Charge. If the phone comes out with these specs, it will easily be the most powerful device on the market! How cool is that?
Google Pixel 2
Just about everything I've seen and read about the original Pixel was positive, and when I had the chance to use one recently I was quite impressed with the simplicity and feel of the device compared to some others. As for it's up-and-coming replacement, rumours are light on the next Pixel, other than confirmation that there will be a new Pixel device in 2017. This said, I am sure that no matter what they have in store for us, the Pixel 2 will be even greater than it's predecessor and I'm looking forward to seeing what they have in store for us!
Apple iPhone 8
OK so if you know me, you know I don't like Apple phones very much, but with the rumoured features expected it's possible Apple might change my mind (if it's true). The iPhone 8 is rumoured to be expecting a full glass body and edge-to-edge OLED display that includes an integrated Touch ID fingerprint sensor in the display. This also means no more physical home button! The phone may be supporting wireless charging as well, which is certainly a nice addition. All this said, however, I am curious to see how much of this is going to be included and how much is wishful thinking.
As we move through 2017, there are lots more phones coming, but these ones caught my attention the most. I hope you found this article helpful and look forward to bringing you more interesting articles in the future! Thanks for reading.
